On Thursday the students in KS3A were learning about Autumn.
The students looked at the environment and spoke about changes they had noticed including the fallen leaves and the change of colour. They went on a leaf hunt and tried to find different leaves that had fallen off the trees. The students used magnifying glasses to look at the leaves more closely.
We then used these leaves to create a leaf rubbing picture using different colours that we see in Autumn. The students used different writing tools including pencils, crayons and chalks. These were really effective and the students were very proud of their work.
Then the students also completed a colouring of an Autumn tree and again used the colours we typically see in Autumn.
They all worked really hard and took turns in sharing their ideas. Well done everyone!
