Sensory Kits for teeth brushing
KS3S have been enjoying accessing oral sensory kits to give them additional oral stimulation prior to teeth brushing. This intervention has led to students now accepting tooth brushes in their mouths, and some students are being completely independent with their teeth brushing.

KS4W Community visit
KS4W loved their community visit, using the public bus, to look at flowers and gardening equipment. They finished off their morning with a visit to a cafe. Students were impeccably behaved at all times. Even members of the public and the cafe staff commented on how well behaved and polite students…
KS4C PSHE Healthy eating - fake-away
KS4C have been learning about healthy eating and unhealthy food choices. They decided to cook a fake away and will compare the calories from their fake away against the usual take away version to see which is healthier.
All students worked as part of a team and helped each other.
KS4 PE - MATP
KS4 MATP group have been working hard in their PE lessons. We’ve worked on our warm ups and stretches, enjoyed parachute games and also started to introduce volleyball using inflatable balls.

Our week in KS3S
We’ve had a brilliant week this week and have enjoyed playing together and spending lots of time in the sunshine.
KS5 Visiting Liverpool Football stadium
KS5 visited Liverpool football stadium today to take part in mental health workshops with others schools. We had a fantastic day and met Chris Kirkland and enjoyed lots of fun activities.We made new friends and had wonderful day and won lots of Liverpool prizes.
KS3C PE 14.05.25
Students from KS3C took part in PE and played a game of round sets. All students took turns to bowl, bat and field. Students enjoyed gaining rounds by running round the bases to the finish. They used communication skills, listening skills, teamwork and problem solving skills.
KS4 Art - Exploring Mosaics
KS4 art group have been exploring mosaics this term. First, we had a go at recreating a mosaic of an apple. Students then did some of their own research using iPads. Each student chose a character to draw in their sketchbooks which they will go on to create a mosaic of.
