KS4W showed amazing engagement in our french lesson. We were learning about different foods and drinks. We were able to match our pictures and identify the different items in french. Well done 4W.

Students loved singing for their families today.

Each Friday, they attend a weekly singing intervention class, which focuses on developing performance skills, confidence, communication and self esteem. 

They all did an amazing job today. Thank you to everyone who attended.

We loved careers week. We went for a job hunt in our local area. Made sandwiches for taste testing while developing our spreading of butter skills and sequencing knowledge. But we think the highlight was the homemade chip making. It was great fun learning to peel and chop potatoes but even better…

We have been practicing our personal hygiene skills today through the use of visuals. We are becoming much more confident and independent with our daily routines. 

We loved visiting the cafe today.

We have become really confident in ordering our drinks and snacks and using money to pay.

All students communicated their wants and needs.

Students loved visiting the local sensory room. They climbed, rolled, pushed, pulled and relaxed. It was a wonderful session. Afterwards we visited MacDonalds for a tasty lunch. What a lovely day!!!

We had a wonderful morning celebrating our families. We even had a few guest appearances from our superheroes too. The cakes were delicious. Happy Friday!!

We are so excited to be inviting our families in to school for a celebration tomorrow. We have chosen which cakes to make, created a shopping list, went shopping on the bus then made our delicious treats. And of course - tidied up. So much learning and so much fun!

Students from KS4 loved celebrating today with their certificates and prizes for being super stars. 

Students loved learning about heroes in our community and in fiction. We were so lucky that the fire service visited us, what an amazing experience!!

Year 10 students really enjoyed their mini cafe enterprise project. They offered brekkie baps to staff for £2.00 and made a small profit which they will explore further in their maths lessons next week. Everyone worked as part of a team and loved every minute of this learning. Well done!!!
