3S celebrated the end of the school year, before some of their friends and staff move on to their new classes.

Students spent the morning learning about the 5 ways to wellbeing and reflected about how they can look after their own wellbeing. 

Key Stage 4 Students have started class transitions today. 

KS4H have been looking at different settings around the school with Mrs Parker. We have been looking at how to describe different scenery, surroundings and their importance within a story. 

Students from KS3 enjoyed making rockets continuing with their topic of space. Students chose to work independently or as part of a team. They chose their own materials and designs.

Students from KS5W and KS5S had a lovely day at our homemade beach area. Students enjoyed playing with the water, making bubbles, feeling sand and firing water guns. In the afternoon they enjoyed making sand and glitter pictures of a beach scene. 

KS5L made hot dogs and homemade chips with apple crumble and custard for desert. Student had enjoyed peeling and chopping apples which is something that they have not done before. They learned a valuable new skill.

A superb day was enjoyed by all canoeing in this beautiful summer weather. All students worked as part of a team to play games. They were even able to move positions in the canoes by using their balance.

KS5W enjoyed a lovely afternoon with their families. Their music therapy teacher arranged a special performance for the parents and then students served cakes and biscuits which they had baked. It was a wonderful family celebration.
