KS5 students continued their four operations learning. Students explored different methods to find missing numbers including using the inverse while keeping place value in mind.

KS5W loved exploring the glockenspiels and learned that each note is different and that they can play the notes softly or loudly. Students began to learn a simple melody for Jingle Bells. 

KS4 have worked hard this afternoon learning about Remembrance Day then going on a poppy hunt around school before creating a class Poppy to display.

Key Stage 3S students, a crafty crew, 

Bonfire night crafts, they'd pursue. 

With TA help and flair, 

They made fireworks in the air, 

A fiery display, with paint, card and PVA glue!

KS5W began learning how to play the glockenspiel today during their music lesson. Students were able to explore how each bar made a different noise. They played the notes loudly and then quietly. They listened to each-other’s performances and loved learning the notes for Jingle…

We loved our time in the immersive room. First, we looked at the planets, then the changing seasons and finally relaxed to music while being under the water. A lovely immersive experience.

We loved cooking our cheesy ham and broccoli pasta today. The banoffee pie was delicious too. All students helped with the meal preparation and with the washing up and tidying away.
